Heritage House accommodation at Whitehouse Cabins
Heritage House

Built during the Klondike gold rush, the Heritage House is one of Dawson City's oldest surviving buildings. Originally known as the Whitehouse Cabins "apartments", these four spacious guest suites combine historic character with modern comforts including private bathrooms and fully equipped kitchenettes.

 

  • Sleeps up to 4 guests

  • One queen + two twin beds

  • Private entrance

  • Outdoor sitting area with BBQ

Nightly rates include up to 2 guests. Additional guests are $15 per person, per night (where permitted).
Maximum occupancy of 4 guests is strictly enforced.

Riverside Cabin

Created by Ed Whitehouse in the 1940s using reclaimed Gold Rush-era shipyard buildings, the Riverside Cabin offers two cozy guest suites overlooking a peaceful section of the property.

Wall Tent Cabins

Experience Gold Rush-style camping without sacrificing comfort.

Our furnished wall tents combine the charm of traditional canvas accommodations with comfortable beds, electricity, Wi-Fi and access to shared washhouse and cookhouse facilities.

Cheechako Tent (8' X 10')

One Double Bed  

A “Cheechako” was a newcomer to the Yukon who had yet to spend
a winter in the North. Our smallest and most snug Wall Tent Cabin,
best suited to a single traveller, with space for two.

Trapper's Tent (12' X 14')

One Double + One Twin Bed

Inspired by the trapping tradition of the North,
the Trapper's sleeps up to 3 guests.

​Sourdough Tent (14' X 16')

One Queen Bed

A “Sourdough” was someone who had spent a winter
in the Yukon and was no longer a newcomer.
One of our more spacious Wall Tent Cabins, sleeping up to 2 guests.

Miner's Tent (14' X 16')

Two Queen Beds

With a nod to Dawson's gold mining history,
the Miner's is one of our most spacious Wall Tent Cabins,
with additional living space and room for up to 4 guests.​

Current rates and availability can be viewed through our online booking system.
Nightly rates include up to two guests. Where permitted, additional guests are $15 per person, per night. Maximum occupancy limits for each room, cabin and wall tent are strictly enforced.
