Reservations & Payments

• All rates are quoted in Canadian dollars and are subject to 5% GST. 

• Current rates and availability are displayed in our online booking system.

• We accept Visa, Mastercard, Interac/Debit, Canadian & U.S. cash.

• A valid Visa or Mastercard is required to guarantee all reservations.

• Your credit card is used to secure your reservation in accordance with our cancellation policy and is not charged at the time of booking. Payment is made upon arrival unless other arrangements have been made.

Cancellations

• Reservations may be cancelled up to 48 hours prior to arrival/departure at no charge.

• A 7-day cancellation policy applies during select special event weekends (including Dawson City Music Festival, Arts Festival, Moosehide Gathering, Discovery Day, Slo-Pitch Tournament) and for group reservations of 3 or more guest rooms.

• Reservations cancelled after the applicable cancellation deadline, or in the event of a no-show, may be subject to the applicable cancellation charge.

Check-In & Check-Out​

• Our office is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. During these hours, we're available to assist with arrivals, departures and guest inquiries.

• Check-in is available between 4:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. We ask that guests provide an estimated arrival time when making their reservation and notify us if their travel plans change. Providing an accurate arrival time helps us ensure someone is available to welcome you and assist with your check-in.

• If you anticipate arriving after 9:00 p.m., please contact us in advance. Late check-ins may be arranged until 11:00 p.m., subject to prior approval. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate arrivals after 11:00 p.m.

• Check-out is 11:00 a.m.

 

Guest Information

• Whitehouse Cabins is a quiet, family-owned accommodation where many guests come to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. We ask all guests to be respectful of others and help us maintain a welcoming atmosphere for everyone.

• To help everyone enjoy a peaceful stay, quiet hours are observed from 11:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.

• For the comfort, security and enjoyment of all guests, only registered guests are permitted on the property and in guest accommodations unless prior arrangements have been made with management.

• Gatherings, parties and entertaining non-registered visitors are not permitted.

• All guest rooms are non-smoking. Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor areas.

• Children under five stay free.

• Children under 14 must be supervised by an adult while on the property.

• Dawson City's historic streets can become muddy, particularly after rain. We appreciate guests removing their outdoor footwear when entering accommodations, especially the Gold Rush Cabin and Wall Tent Cabins, to help us preserve these unique spaces for everyone to enjoy.

Pet Policy

We're pleased to welcome pets in designated Heritage House and Riverside Cabin accommodations.

• Pet fee: $20 per pet, per night

• Maximum two pets per room

• No size restrictions

• Please let us know you're travelling with a pet when making your reservation so we can assign a pet-friendly room.

• Pets are not permitted in the Gold Rush Cabin or Wall Tent Cabins.

• Pets must remain on a leash while on the property and may not be left unattended in guest rooms, vehicles or elsewhere on the property.

• Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.

• Pets are not permitted on beds, couches or other furniture.

• Damage or excessive cleaning resulting from pets may result in additional charges (minimum $200).
